(1) Technical Principle
The temperature swing adsorption helium purifier (cryogenic helium purifier) utilizes a refrigeration system to provide-100~-80a cryogenic environment at ℃, operating on the principle of adsorption during cooling and desorption during heating, thereby removingimpurity gases such as nitrogen, oxygen (argon), carbon dioxide, and neon, yielding≥99.999%high-purity helium gas, or even≥99.9999%ultra-high-purity helium gas.
The key advantage of this purifier is that it does not require liquid nitrogen, relying solely on a standard refrigeration system to provide a conventional cooling source. This greatly facilitates its use in scenarios where liquid nitrogen is difficult to obtain, making it particularly suitable for enclosed environments such as factory floors and research laboratories where hazardous chemicals like liquid nitrogen cannot or should not be used.
Expandable application to high-purity and ultra-pure gases such as helium, hydrogen, neon, especially for removing trace amounts of neon from helium.
